Grant Harshbarger
Prior to joining M.M. Dillon & Company as a Managing Director in 2011, Mr. Harshbarger had served as a Managing Director at Caris & Company, and initiated Caris’ Healthcare Investment Banking effort in 2005. Over the course of 22+ years in investment banking, Mr. Harshbarger has advised and financed companies in all sectors of healthcare (HCIT, Services, Biotech, Specialty Pharma, Devices) and at various stages of development - from private companies seeking their first round of institutional capital, to small/mid-cap companies seeking IPOs, PIPES, public offerings, M&A and restructurings, to market leading companies seeking novel ideas for strategic acquisitions. His background includes banking at full service firms (e.g., Dean Witter Reynolds, Brenner/Loewenbaum/Southcoast Capital) as well as product-focused institutional firms (e.g., Citadel Investment Group (Nexbridge), Bentley Securities). While at Citadel, Mr. Harshbarger tailored equity-linked financing solutions for public healthcare companies. Mr. Harshbarger began his career as a credit analyst at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), lending to major teaching hospitals, equipment pools, etc. Mr. Harshbarger holds a B.A. from Brown University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
