Jim has over 20 years of investment industry experience with 15 years in energy investment banking. Jim spent the majority of his career at bulge bracket investment banks including Citigroup (previously Salomon Brothers), Bear Stearns and Barclays Capital. During that time he advised a wide variety of large cap and mid cap energy companies in M&A and public capital markets transactions, raising over $25 billion for his clients. He most recently led the energy practice at Houlihan Lokey where he closed over 40 M&A, fairness and valuation assignments for energy clients. Jim has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BS from the University of Illinois. He holds the CFA charter and is series 7 and 63 registered.
