Retained by Wilmer Cutler as counsel for Defendants .MM Dillon represented Verizon Communications providing expert testimony in the areas of media, investment banking, capital markets and private equity related to the spin off of IDEARC Media from Verizon involving U.S. Bank National Association and related hedge funds as the Plaintiff. The transaction in question had a total aggregate value of over $14 billion with claimed damages in excess. Ultimately the judge in Texas ruled in favor of Verizon awarding NO damages
